Disk 1, Foxtrot, is basically all the early Foxtrot moves from the Lampert's 4 disk BALLROOM Series.

If you've rented those disks - 1, 2, 3a, and 3b - then you've seen and done most these Foxtrot moves already. If you haven't, and just want to learn Foxtrot, start here and get the other Foxtrot disks in this series next.

This is very-very-very plain instruction and very much "beginner" dancing in it's look and feel. It doesn't tell you much about how to do things - you just have to get with a partner and step it out as you follow what they show you; very much like any beginner dance class...

Seriously, most "How to" disks aim too high and much time is spent on "the look." No time "wasted" on looks here, or, much of anything else. It's just "step here and go there" instruction without much pause for explanation, jokes, history, or, war stories...

Coffee helps, along with patience, and, a few good slow and obvious Foxtrot songs to practice to - like many Country Western Two Steps and many "bouncy" (for an obvious beat) but slow Swing music.

Not pretty dancing, but "good enough" for many venues (weddings, church dances, etc.) outside of "Dancing with the Stars."

Good luck.
